Papers & Posters

The Congress Organization invites proposals for the presentation of a paper. Individual presentations (lectures) shall be 10 to 15 minutes in length. Posters shall be limited in size to 5 folios per person. Please use a large font size. Any presenter who wishes to distribute handouts must bring these in sufficient quantities.

Format

  1. Name of the author
  2. Author's full mailing address
  3. Email address, telephone number and fax number of the author
  4. Title of the paper or poster
  5. An abstract of maximally 400 words, describing the theme of the paper/poster, the objectives, and an outline

Proposals must be written in English. There will not be simultaneous translation during the Congress. However, the Congress Organization wishes to foster a genuine international dialogue. Native English speakers are kindly reminded to adjust style and speed of presentations to their multi-lingual audience.

Deadline & Submission

The deadline for proposals is end of June 2004. Presentations submitted earlier will be given priority (we can only accept 20 students).
Proposals must be submitted by email to the Congress Organization (science@iads-congress.de). Please use MSWord to prepare your proposal and attach this document to your email. Type the words "Congress Abstract" in the subject line of your email.

Review & Acceptance

All submitted proposals will be reviewed by a scientific committee.
Please note that accepted papers will only be included in the congress program after the submitter has registered for the Congress and paid the Congress fees in full.
If so requested the Congress Planning Committee will send the submitter a formal email.

The Congress Comitee is not able to take care of the flight, Congress fee or anything else.
The best paper/poster is getting a prize as an appreciation.
